Gropak is a family owned and operated business by Alan and Andrea Buchanan. Gropak is situated in Tiakitahuna, a small country town 15min south of Palmerston North.

Gropak procures, packs, markets and distributes potatoes, carrots, onions and beetroot into home brands and supermarket brands for over 20 years.

Gropak also have a Low Carb Potato packed under the Sunlite Low Carb Brand. Sunlite Low Carb Potatoes was introduced to Foodstuffs supermarkets in the North Island, NZ in 2016 and just recently in the South Island, NZ in June 2020.

Gropak has 3 modernised packhouses equipped with purpose-built machinery, therefore Gropak has the ability to wash, store, grade and package fresh produce ensuring it is supermarket ready.

Alan and Andrea Buchanan, along with their children Campbell and Georgia take great pride of Gropak and continue to ensure your fresh produce is the best from dirt to dish.
